Associate Account Executive – West Coast
In this position you will maximize placement of particular products in our existing and new customer base. You will work closely with the Account Executives and Product Managers to build account strategies and maximize product placement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for specific product lines and accounts to maximize penetration with assigned customer base.
- In conjunction with an assigned Account Executive/Mentor, provide product and industry information to those casino customers to enable them to achieve their goals through the use of Shuffle Master product.
- Explain and/or demonstrate to customers their assigned products at a user level; identify when additional resources are required for detailed presentation.
- Ensure that assigned product placement quotas in the lease and sale of all assigned products are achieved.
- Provides ongoing analysis of existing installed base and future opportunities to maximize assigned product penetration.
- Assist in the process of assigned customer lease and sales forecast weekly in the CRM database.
- Provide an accurate lease and sales funnel for a minimum 12 month rolling period.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports that include, but are not limited to, all pertinent information relating to products, service, pricing, customer feedback, product performance and competitive product information.
- Provide weekly activity data, through CRM Activity function, that includes customer meeting and customer sales telephone calls.
- Provide unprecedented Customer Service to all customers.
- Perform other assignments (or duties) as required.
Required Job Skills:
- Knowledge of the company and its products.
- Thorough working knowledge of various standard key business function calculations, including but not limited to Return on Investment (ROI), Cap Lease calculations, Depreciation, Op Ex/Cap Ex, Revenue Recognition, Deferred Revenue, Net Present Value (NPV).
- Ability to use the aforementioned financial functions to aid in the placement of product.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external customers and all levels of staff.
- Ability to build positive interpersonal relationships and contribute as a member of the team.
- Ability to prioritize, be proactive, take initiative, handle multiple responsibilities, work under pressure, and ensure follow through.

Computer Equipment and Software:
- Working knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Great Plains, and CRM software
Certification, Education and Experience:
Certification:
- Gaming card, and or the ability to obtain by appropriate licensing agency.
Education:
- Bachelors/undergraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or similar.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of Sales Account management experience or equivalent.
- Gaming experience preferred.
