Cisco seeks a Small Business Account Manager II(SBAM) to drive revenue growth in the Commercial Sub100 segment within the Mid Atlantic (Maryland) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to profile a territory, determine business drivers, create a strategy, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to develop key skills and achieve career advancement in the exciting and high-growth customer segment of Small Business.

The successful candidate will be able to manage +15% growth within a defined territory utilizing a channels to customer distribution model. They will need to target multiple geographic markets and vertical segments to aggressively pursue and capture new Cisco customers. In order to ensure marketshare growth, the successful candidate will be required to build the appropriate channel coverage model of partners and consultants in each of these markets. In this position, a strategic focus, and the ability to understand partner business needs is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in enabling market growth by utilizing marketing resources and improving the marketing competence of the extended partner community. Acting as a virtual Small Business Regional Manager to the region’s partners, the candidate will also be responsible for developing go-to-market plans with partners and accurately reporting their sales activity.

Demonstrated knowledge of managing a territory, including demand generation, partner development, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term & long-term opportunity management is essential. Solution selling and business case development skills are desired. Must have the ability to articulate and deliver business value to the partner community.

Technical and business knowledge with skills to understand the customer’s business drivers and align to Cisco solutions is desired. Must be able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills-- with peers, partners and customers.

5-8 years of customer/partner experience required. Completion of BA/BS degree required, and MBA preferred.
