The WW Industry and Global Accounts group is looking for an experienced operations and business analytics leader to engage our WW Industry Sales Team and EPG field personnel to land Industry Strategic operational and business metrics and achieve the FY11 sales win and revenue target. This high profile role will own/execute the WW Industry Operation Scorecard and business analytics engagement plan for the field; partner within WW Industry & Global Accounts and in EPG and BGs in HQ and A13 to develop reporting including pipeline for WW Industry; drive business analysis and identify business trends and the key levers to win deals; own monthly communication to for the WW Industry operational scorecard/review readiness rhythm; co-ordination/evangelize best practices across Areas; and drive the awareness and communications or “go dos” for the field to be successful.
A successful candidate will have the ability to develop and manage field an operational scorecard and processes that facilitate consistent, efficient sales motion to penetrate target segments. To achieve this, you must work in strong partnership with the WW Finance and Ops team to ensure regular reporting, data analysis and integrity of our systems/insight. You will also partner closely with strategic Industry and TZ leads in the field to identify business insights/analytic requirements, analysis business health, and gain street level insight in to what is working and what is not. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, strong analytical skills, strong project management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills to have impact and influence without direct authority, executive maturity and presence, and the ability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly. Attention to detail; excellent project management skills; and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude are required to manage the variety of responsibilities and deliverables. You must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines, and must be flexible with tolerance for and ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty. Excellent public speaking skills and extensive experience managing senior partnerships (internal) and operating at a leadership level within Microsoft.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 10 years of diverse work experience and familiar with Microsoft in business strategy and program management
• Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills
• Ability to partner effectively with senior leadership in critical decision making.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and passion to dig deep into the data to understand what’s working and not working and identify improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated success in driving and completing multiple diverse, complex projects at the same time. • Proven leadership skills, strong public speaking skills and be a motivated self-starter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, outstanding people skills, cross-boundary collaboration, impact and influence, interpersonal awareness
• Strong organizational agility working in a matrixed environment
• High business acumen and problem solving and project management skills.
