The Role:
The Account Sales Executive is responsible for closely collaborating with top online advertisers and their respective agencies to develop strategic digital solutions to address customers’ marketing needs. An ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a successful track record in the industry.
Specific duties include:
• Cultivate thorough understanding of the company’s technology, offering, and publisher partners
• Proactively identify potential customers within target verticals (CPG and media/entertainment) and initiate contact to develop relationships
• Thoroughly manage relationships with clients and decision makers at all levels to obtain new business
• Develop strategic digital solutions to address customers’ marketing aims
• Complete RFPs and inbound proposals on MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives
• Provide clients with top-notch product support and customer service
• Accurately and effectively record sales activity and pipelines via Salesforce
• Monitor competitive landscape as well as other digital media opportunities
• Translate client feedback and requests into product recommendations for company’s product team
• Some travel required
Requirements:
• Successful background prospecting and managing sales of new online media to brands and agencies
• Strong relationships with top online advertisers within CPG and media/entertainment verticals
• Experience initiating new accounts, preparing proposals, managing accounts, and winning repeat business
• Strong understanding of social media and a passion for cutting-edge digital media
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to thrive working independently and remotely in an entrepreneurial startup environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, as wells as references from coworkers, managers, and customers
Compensation:
$200,000+
