Do you want to play a key role in helping Microsoft evolve to become the leading player in the Enterprise Application Platform market?

The Enterprise Application Platform market is a $30B market with significant growth. Ever more complex competitive environments, globalization and regulatory compliance are just some of the most important drivers urging customers to rethink how they manage and evolve their applications in which they have implemented their business processes. Getting more value from these applications, driving their evolution to support innovation and deriving business insight from the vast data that these applications generate are essential for companies to drive profits and growth. With the emerging paradigm of cloud computing, companies will be enabled to consume applications like a service and participate in new business models in which application logic is meshed to enable entirely new processes and business models.

Application Platforms provide the set of capabilities to enable customers get more from their application portfolio. In the traditional on premises world is in an insurgent role challenging established players like Oracle and IBM with a superior price/performance positioning but needs to transform the way it sells to and supports customers. In the cloud, Microsoft is striving to assume a leadership position. Microsoft has the opportunity to help customers evolve their application platforms and create value by offering full platform symmetry between on premises and the cloud.

Microsoft has a significant opportunity to gain rapid market share in the Enterprise Application Platform market from Oracle and IBM as well as gaining an early mover advantage by helping customers to leverage new cloud computing paradigms on and off premises. Candidates should be experts in cloud technology and business models gathered through client engagements and/or strategy work. Candidates with sales experience are preferred.
