The Partner Strategy Team within Worldwide Public Sector is looking for an extraordinary, highly-motivated individual to drive our Healthcare strategy forward. Join a dynamic team in an extremely visible role to shape how Microsoft engages with partners worldwide driving business within the Public Sector Healthcare ecosystem. Develop and execute our partner strategy as the industry partner team lead for Public Sector.
Partners are core for how the Public Sector business grows and scales to a $11b industry within the next three-years. On a world-wide basis, healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries, especially in the SMSP segmentation space. Engaging deeply with our Industry leaders, drive a scaled plan with distribution partners and VARs while increasing partner capacity and improving partner’s satisfaction with Microsoft is the adventure ahead in this new business. We need an outstanding team leader to take our engagement with partners capitalizing on the Healthcare industry growth to the next level.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and drive a defined Healthcare partner ecosystem strategy on a global basis by leading a cross-divisional team in concert and with full alignment to Healthcare industry priorities
Work closely with the partner teams in DPE, EPG, SMSP, and Dynamics - both within corporate and across subsidiaries to represent their priorities within your partner ecosystem strategy, and our Healthcare industry strategies within their plans
Maximize Microsoft revenue and strategic industry sales opportunities, by working with the right SIs with the right engagement:
o Perform targeted analysis of the SI landscape and opportunity (e.g., by country, within an industry, for a Microsoft product, versus competitive technology)
o Determine where we make the big-bets with selected SIs and drive to fruition with EPG Alliance Teams, especially with relation to Cloud-services offerings.
o Design the portfolio of Microsoft SI Healthcare offerings the Field can engage in join selling efforts as measured by Industry Solution Area Wins
Advance key Healthcare industry priorities across the ecosystem as measured by sales results, increased partner capacity, improved partner satisfaction and industry recognition
Facilitate regular interaction with all key stakeholders
o Status updates to the Healthcare Industry Leads
o Overview presentations to key Microsoft executives
o Monthly field champion calls and newsletters
Qualifications:
Proven track record of delivering impact in high-visible, strategic initiatives
Proven engagement with Healthcare industry and knowledge of key industry trends and initiative’s
Superior team leadership skills, ability to motivate and lead a cross-functional team
Strong analytical abilities, the ability to clearly formulate issues and recommendations
Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and successful project management experience
Solid written and oral communication skills, ability to deliver effective presentations to senior executive audiences
Ability to work reliably and precisely under pressure and deadlines, and must be flexible with high tolerance for and ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty
B.A. required and MBA preferred
This position is based in Redmond with 30% international business travel. Compensation plan is S17 with defined commitments against partner sales revenue, partner ecosystem capacity, partner satisfaction improvement, field engagement and advancement of industry specific initiatives.
