EPG is comprised of over 6000 enterprise sellers who work to ensure that Microsoft's largest customers realize the most value from IT investments. EPG's Redmond based HQ team is responsible for developing the strategies and sales enablers to support our sellers and ensure predictable growth of our Enterprise business.
Within EPG, the Alliance Partner Business Development Team is responsible for working with Microsoft's Business Groups (BGs) and Business Architects to enable Microsoft's strategic priorities via Alliance Partners. The Business Development team works to increase partner commitment to the Microsoft software and develop compelling customer value propositions that can be executed via partners. The Business Development team's success is ultimately be measured by the amount of new revenue, share growth and other strategic goals that are driven via our Alliance Partners.
The Alliance Partner Business Development Team is looking for a highly motivated leader with a passion for business development and BPIO technology to drive business development activities across our most important Alliance Partners.
The role reports to the Director Business Development - Business Productivity Infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities:
The Unified Communications and Collaboration BDM will be accountable for:
Identifying and quantifying opportunities to drive BPIO revenue with leading Services Alliances and win against competitors
Acting as a trusted strategic advisor and contributor to the Business Group on achieving growth through Enterprise Alliances for Collaboration.
Designing go-to market value propositions that combine Microsoft and partner strengths
Structuring deals including solutions, marketing, sales, investment, governance that align our interests and the partners and facilitate execution
Ensuring that these deals land successfully in the EPG field and yield the expected results
Providing guidance to EPG leadership on BPIO Partner strategy
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
A strong candidate will possess as many of the following skills and experiences as possible;
Strong business development and/ or enterprise sales experience
Experience negotiating investments with partners and BGs
Experience engaging with senior executives.
Exceptional problem solving and strategic thinking skills
Proven competency to collaborate cross organizations, deal with ambiguity and driving impact without direct authority
Strong understanding of Services Companies and Independent Software Vendor business models
Strong understanding of Microsoft's BPIO software and competitive strategy
Strong program management and communication skills
College degree required. MBA preferred.
