Role Outline

The Voice Sales and Partner Manager will be responsible for executing multi-district strategies and sales programs to achieve sales and services growth. This Voice Sales & Partner Manager would be responsible for managing a team of Voice SSPs, PAM’s and Voice TSPs that will be focused on achieving Light House and Voice Pilot Wins, evangelizing the OCS Voice Platform as we launch our Wave 14 technologies and monetizing the Voice CAL revenue within the assigned geographies. This person must be extremely detailed oriented and have the ability to build strong relationships with the product group.
Primary responsibilities
Meeting or exceeding overall lighthouse and voice pilot win targets for FY11
Manage Voice SSP, Voice PAM and Voice TSP Incubation Resources
Create and implement strategic sales strategies within assigned geographies resulting in achieving/exceeding revenue attainment goals
Build and manage a VOIP Partner scorecard and provide monthly updates
Partner on boarding, sales enablement, market development and technical sales training to generate leads for partner and sales closure working with appropriate cross group resources.
Manage executive relationships with key Microsoft stakeholders and customers
Manage and build relationships with individual partner teams, and UC district/area teams to help them more effectively sell UC Voice solutions.
Manage and review the UC Voice opportunity pipeline with EPG sales leadership team.
Working with other alliance teams and PAMS to drive broad channel engagement for UC Voice solutions and services
Partner with appropriate Business Development Managers, Partner Marketing Managers and UCG resources to successfully accelerate joint wins.
Build awareness and appropriate Microsoft peers (ATU, STU and MCS)

The ideal candidate will have strong and proven sales and partner account management experience. Knowledge of Unified Communications market, competition and industry is strongly preferred. Teamwork, strong presentation and cross-group collaboration skills are essential. Industry/reseller experience, technical aptitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills required; Some travel is expected. Knowledge of Telcos, MSPP, Channel enablement, Communications Industry are highly beneficial. BA/BS required.
